Note: for Rodrigues it is recommended to do a 4 or 5 day trip (overnight on a large boat) heading to Hawkins Banks for the best results. This is priced at USD 1800 to 2000 per person all inclusive, based on 5 anglers.

A truly world class fishing destination and also some of the most beautiful natural beaches and tropical island scenery. Some seriously big fish that will test you and your gear so be prepared!
Gear: Charter can provide gear but feel free to bring your own. Heavy jigging set up, 10000, 14000 reels, PE 4 or 6. Heavy popping/casting set up PE 6 or 8.

How to get there: Fly into Mauritius and take a taxi. For Rodrigues, first fly into Mauritius and then catch a connecting flight to Rodrigues. You can also combine the two islands with a few days on each.
